How to Store Electric Bike for Winter: Essential Tips for Longevity

Winter is coming, and if you're an electric bike owner, it's time to think about proper storage. Cold temperatures, moisture, and inactivity can wreak havoc on your e-bike's components. Follow these essential steps to protect your investment and ensure a smooth ride when spring arrives.

Clean Your Electric Bike Thoroughly

Before storing your electric bike for winter, give it a thorough cleaning. Dirt, grime, and salt residue can corrode metal parts and damage the paint. Use a mild detergent and a soft brush to clean the frame, wheels, and drivetrain. Pay special attention to the chain, gears, and brakes. Rinse with clean water and dry completely to prevent rust.
