Considered the fastest Hoverboard available, the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard is one impressive speed demon.

Inspired by the Formula one racing supercars, the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard is the epitome of style.

The durable aluminum frame that can hold 265 lbs, is sleek with an impressive unique design.

With a front section made from ABS parts, you’d swear you were staring at a Formula one racing supercar heading straight towards you.

Not only does it look fast, it is fast with a top speed of 9.9 miles/hour.

That might not seem very fast, but for a hoverboard, this is frighteningly fast.

When Gyroor offered to send this sleek and stylish hoverboard, I couldn’t refuse.

Meet the Sleek, Super Fast, Lamborghini Yellow Gyroor F1 Hoverboard

What was sent was a Gyroor F1 Hoverboard in a Lamborghini yellow, and it sure didn’t disappoint.

Step Onto the Sturdy, Fast Looking Aluminum Frame Modeled After A Formula One Racing Supercar

It’s sturdy, racy looking aluminum body, has two large areas with a tough rubber material that prevents your feet from slipping off.

This is very useful when going at frightening speeds at almost 10 miles per hour.

Feel the Awesome Torque and Power

Powering this beast are two 350W motors that turn two slick, 8.5 inch wheels with a width of 215mm.

You can adjust the speed of these monstrous motors within the app. There’s a child mode to ensure safe riding for your kids if you don’t want them to ride too fast.

Or, if this hoverboard is meant for you, and you want to feel like a Formula one race car driver, you can adjust the speed to maximum.

Of course if you’re a beginner, like I am, I’d suggest that you set the speed low until you get use to it.

This Gyroor F1 Hoverboard Has Many Unique Features That Others Don’t

Partially covering each wheel are carbon fiber fenders, which I assume are to protect you from dirt and water while riding in foul weather.

Also, they protect your feet from getting caught on the wheels while riding.

Rated as IP54 water-resistant, these fancy fenders would help a lot if you plan on commuting on a daily basis.

But I didn’t want to take chances with damaging this impressive hoverboard, by riding it in pouring rain.

This Hoverboard Allows You To Listen To Your Favorite Music

The front part made of ABS parts, that looks like an air vent, is just as incredible.

While riding, you can play your favorite music through this high-quality, Pro Bluetooth speaker.

Or, just listen to the sounds of a Formula one racing supercar.

There’s Adjustable DIY LED Lights, Making This Hoverboard Safe To Ride At Night

You can also adjust the DIY LED lights on both the front and back, to any color you want, and even to flashing.

There’s a few other extra features such as an anti-theft alarm, but my favorite is the self balancing, making it easier and safer for beginners like me to learn how to ride.

How to Get Started With Riding the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard

Whenever you’re trying a new transportation device, or a complete beginner like me, it’s important to become familiar with it first.

For example, I’m use to riding folding bikes such as the Brompton and Tern Link D8, and the Xootr MG Scooter.

I’ve never ridden a hoverboard or any other type of electric device before.

That’s why I took the time to read the safety instructions, and how to work it before stepping onto it.

I watched videos on YouTube that contained tips on how to learn how to keep balance.

How to make the hoverboard go forward and backwards.

And how to practice safely to reduce injury.

Just make sure you wear a helmet before taking this high acceleration hoverboard onto the busy streets.

First You Must Download the App

Before you use the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard, it’s important that you download the app.

Many reviewers on Amazon said that they had a hard time getting the hoverboard to connect to the app.

My experience on the other hand was very different.

I downloaded the Gyroor app from the Apple store onto my Apple iPhone 5S.

My Apple iPhone 5S is a dinosaur when it comes to cell phones, but I like it and have no intentions of getting rid of it yet.

Once the app was downloaded, all I had to do was turn the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard on and sync it.

With the push of a power button, this hoverboard sounds just like a Formula one race car starting up.

Now, if you don’t want to hear the race car sounds, you can shut it off.

But honestly, why would you want to when it sounds so cool?

The app allowed me to set the speed. Turn self balancing on or off. Select the LED lights color. And play music, which I don’t prefer to do.

Once I was done setting everything up, even used the app to power the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard down.

For those of you who aren’t sure how to use the app and features, read the instruction manual carefully.

And watch this very handy video that Gyroor has provided on Youtube.

Learn How To Keep Your Balance On the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard

As I stepped onto the hover board it was surprisingly stable. The two large rubbber areas where you put your feet are actually sensors. All the lights lit up, and the motors engaged letting me know it was ready for action.

To make the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard go forward, backwards or to turn, you have to lean in the direction that you want to go.

This can feel a little strange at first, even if you’re use to riding small, two-wheeled transportation devices, such as kick scooters, like me.

I had a hard time trusting the hover board at first, because it seemed like it would just want to turn over and throw you onto the ground, but it didn’t.

The only problem I had at first, was learning how to lean-to make it move in different directions.

If you start to lose your balance, causing it to not know what direction to go in, it will start shaking violently back and forth.

When the hover board started doing this, I just stepped off and held it until it calmed down.

Just make sure you reset the power, especially if you’re using the self balancing mode, before you get back on.

Ride the Hoverboard In A Safe Location At First, Away From Traffic

Fortunately, I have a long driveway that can fit over 5 cars. This is a great location for me to learn how to ride the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard.

At first I set the speed of the Hoverboard on the lowest setting, because I had some trouble keeping my balance.

As I practiced more each day, I got much better at controlling the hoverboard, and not falling off as much.

By the fourth day, I was able to increase the speed, even though I still consider the maximum overkill.

How Does the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard Ride?

Over smooth pavement and semi-rough surfaces, the Hoverboard rides astonishingly well.

Of course, if the surfaces are too rough or the bumps are too big, you will feel it, because it does have solid wheels.

But as long as you keep your balance, it’s a great Hoverboard to ride.

Just make sure you brace yourself because this bad boy accelerates fast.

I did see some reviewers on YouTube riding the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard down curbs, and attempting to ride off road, but I don’t suggest it.

The Gyroor F1 Hoverboard was made to go fast on smooth pavement.

If off road and curb jumping is what you’re after, I’d highly suggest the Gyroor Warrior Hoverboard.

What Would Be the Intended Use For the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard?

Riding short distances in the city to cafes or stores, the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard is perfect.

With small dimensions of 29.6 Inches x 9.9 Inches X 8.8 Inches, this hoverboard can easily be carried into places or put inside a shopping cart.

It can also be easily stored indoors or the trunk of a small car.

And to make it easier to carry, it even has a handy carry handle.

Unfortunately, the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard isn’t suitable for long distance trips because of it’s limited range of 7.5~9.5 Miles on a full charge.

If you plan on going on trips longer than 9 miles, I’d suggest either an electric scooter or electric bike.

Unless you want to carry along the charger that comes with it. Just make sure you have a place to plug it in, and a little time, because it takes between 1.5 to 2 hours to fully charge.

The Gyroor Hoverboard is also very heavy to carry at 33lbs. If you plan on traveling on a plane, or have to carry it up a lot of steps to get to the subway, such as in New York City, I’d suggest a lighter option, such as the Micro Sprite Scooter.

Conclusion

Overall, I think the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard is amazing. It has a sleek looking, super strong aluminum frame, with a stunning Lamborghini yellow paint job.

An awesome front scoop made from ABS parts with a hidden Pro Bluetooth Speaker.

LED lights that can be changed to different colors, making it safer to ride at night.

And two slick wheels powered by two 350W motors that will blow your hair off as they accelerate.

Also, this hoverboard has self balancing technology, making it easier for beginners like me, to learn how to ride it.

But Here’s What I Like the Most About the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard

Unlike the cheaper hoverboards that use to catch on fire, this hoverboard uses UL2272, LG/Samsung battery cells.

This means that the Gyroor F1 Hoverboard has met very strict safety standards, passing CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications.

Now you can get rid of all the images of catching on fire while riding down the street, unlike in the movie called, “Christine.”
